RETROSPECTIVE

WOMEN'S OLYMPISM

Through its "OSONS RÊVER" capsule, Bourrienne Paris X retraces the history of the first women's Olympic Games organised by Alice Milliat in August 1922.

Challenging social norms & conventions and putting the national and international sports press to the test, these 77 sportswomen made Olympic history, driven by their passion and determination and wearing ... white shirts! These women fought for their sporting achievements to be recognised in the same way as those of men.
