The Story Behind Our Iconic Figures
FROM DRAWING TO SHIRT
Each Bourrienne Paris X shirt tells a story. Inspired by period details and deeply rooted in French sartorial heritage, our designs are created from archival pieces brought up to date. Their name is a clue, a gateway to that story.
OUR SIGNATURE DETAILS
THE BRAND
The House has chosen to embroider its logo in white on white, as well as the swallow that finishes the side seam in order to reinforce it.
THE MODEL NAME
Similarly, the model's name is embroidered on the inside of the right wrist.
The Frills
The gathers in the sleeves replace the two traditional pleats and are borrowed from old-fashioned shirts.
THE BOURRIAN CUP
A new shirt style, inspired by the romantic cuts of the era.
The shoulder line is longer than a fitted shirt, the armhole lower, and the shirt longer overall. A series of gathers at the back accentuates the yoke, creating ease and volume. Our signature cut.
THE FITTED CUT
Our fitted cut sits flatteringly and delicately accentuates the waist without cinching it. We chose to keep this close-to-the-body silhouette without darts to maintain the garment's clean lines.
