Bourrienne offers a library of exceptional shirts , designed in a Parisian private mansion and made by the best workshops in noble fabrics, with an evocative feel.
Each shirt tells a story : the story of forgotten details from the past that it reinterprets, and the story that the person wearing it is about to write.
THE EXPERTISE OF A SHIRT MAKER
A true artisan of detail , the House makes this iconic garment the common denominator between heritage and modernity . Today, each shirt offers a balance between singularity and authenticity , through a multitude of collars, cuffs, bibs, and embroideries that reflect its boundless creativity.
Behind this aesthetic ideal lies a unique creative concept, inspired by an exceptional heritage.
INSPIRATION
In 2015, entrepreneur Charles Beigbeder bought the Hôtel de Bourrienne , a forgotten gem from the Directoire era. He was captivated by the history of the place. He looked to the future by restoring it.
In the era of salons, a circle of intellectuals gravitated around the Hôtel Particulier: from Talleyrand to Bonaparte, including Chateaubriand and Victor Hugo. Men, already modern, debating in white shirts : a premise that inspires the brand's concept.
BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
The Hôtel de Bourrienne still resonates today with the extraordinary personalities who frequented it. An allegory of a bygone era, this sleeping beauty was just waiting to be rediscovered.
To pay homage to this unique place, artistic director Cécile Faucheur designs collections of pure and contemporary white shirts.
