The crafting of Bourrienne Paris X shirts requires expertise and meticulous attention to detail.
The drape of the collar, the construction of the cuffs, the balance of proportions: every detail is carefully considered. The stitching—6 stitches per centimeter—reveals the excellence of a rare craftsmanship, perpetuated in our certified European workshops.
Certain steps are entirely handmade, without the use of machines, such as the pleated plastrons and the manually shaped cuff details.

Our Signature details
A Bourrienne shirt is recognizable by its details. The cuts, collars, and cuffs are inspired by historical shirts and reinterpreted by our artistic director, Cécile Faucheur.
At the cuffs, gathers replace traditional ease pleats, subtly redefining the volume. The Bourrienne cut, reinterpreting the romantic gathers at the back, has become a signature of the Maison.
The embroidered braid is directly inspired by the frescoes of the Hôtel de Bourrienne, a historic gem of the Directoire period.
The embroidery is meticulously designed: the model’s name is revealed on the inside of the right cuff, while the brand’s signature appears on the inside of the back, as well as on the reinforcement gusset.
