Built from 1787, the Hôtel de Bourrienne is a unique Parisian symbol, containing interior decorations dating from the Directory, still preserved today. The last witness of its time, the Hôtel is now the source of inspiration for the brand, enriching each collection with its history and heritage.
Fortunée Hamelin

From 1792 onwards, it was inhabited by Fortunée Hamelin, who transformed the hôtel into a hub of high society receptions frequented by figures such as Bonaparte, Joséphine de Beauharnais, and Madame Tallien. Nicknamed "Les Petites Tuileries" (The Little Tuileries), the Hôtel de Bourrienne became the second court of the era, animated by both heated debates and lavish receptions.
A muse of the Merveilleuses fashion movement, Fortunée captivated with her beauty, free spirit, and avant-garde style.
The place was then bought by Louis Fauvelet de Bourrienne, Napoleon's private secretary, who gave it his name.
An entrepreneur at heart, Charles Beigbeder is reviving the Hôtel de Bourrienne by undertaking its restoration and creating an eponymous brand.

The white shirt, reviving details from the past. A true craftsman of detail, the House makes this iconic garment the common denominator between heritage and modernity.
Today, each shirt draws its inspiration from the history of the Hotel and French heritage, in order to revive period collars, cuffs, plastrons, and embroidery in contemporary, unique and timeless pieces.
