Born from our clients' request to enhance their Bourrienne wardrobe with shirts of a more classic design, yet with the same high level of quality and craftsmanship inherent to the Maison, the Essential Line is the result of several months of research.

D E S I G N

The brand’s Creator & Artistic Director, Cécile Faucheur, designed the 6 Essential models in our Parisian workshops. Collar fall, shirt cut, stitch details, and topstitching: every detail has been meticulously studied to create the perfect shirt for the contemporary man, with an impeccable fit. From the Bourrienne flower embroidered on the wrist to the beautifully adorned swallow, the Essential line has answered our clients' wish for timelessness and meticulous finishing.

F A B R I C & M A T E R I A L S E L E C T I O N

With white as our sole color, we focused on selecting an Italian fabric of the highest quality, with a fresh and vibrant hand, smooth and compact in appearance yet soft to the touch. Our fabrics are OEKO TEX 100 and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified, guaranteeing eco-responsible production and complete traceability. The cotton is sourced from carefully selected fields in California, meeting the highest quality standards.

C O N F E C T I O N

The Essential shirts are crafted in a certified workshop in Europe. Making our products requires expertise and special attention, with some steps being done by hand, such as the details on the Bourrienne cuff. The double-stitched button placket is enhanced by Australian mother-of-pearl buttons. Our seams, with 6 stitches per centimeter, testify to the impeccable quality of our models.
