JOSÉPHINE reinterprets the historical Bourrienne Paris X wardrobe through the audacious vision of Charles de Vilmorin.
A long dress with a majestic allure, it features a high collar and puffed sleeves framing a bodice with multiple cuts, precisely sculpting the bust. On the sides, a series of loops accommodate crisscrossing ties, allowing the bodice to be tightened and the silhouette to be adjusted with a modern touch.
The full, gathered skirt is distinguished by a unique cut line, dipping from front to back to follow movement.
JOSÉPHINE takes its name from the Merveilleuses of the Directory, those free and audacious figures who redefined the codes of elegance at the end of the 18th century.

BOURRIENNE CUT: The Bourrienne cut offers a generous volume inspired by the romantic shirts of the era. For the romantic drape we envisioned, choose your usual size. For a closer fit, choose one size down.
How do I care for my shirt?

When using a washing machine, it is recommended to choose the "delicate" setting and a maximum wash temperature of 30°C.
Opt for air drying, on a hanger to make ironing easier.
