FORTUNÉE reinterprets the historic Bourrienne Paris X wardrobe through the audacious gaze of Charles de Vilmorin.
This piece asserts a theatrical silhouette, carried by a confident play on volumes. Ruffles unfold with intensity—both at the armhole and on the detachable collar—creating a look that is both dramatic and controlled.
The dialogue between cotton poplin and cotton voile introduces a subtle contrast of textures, playing on layering and transparency.
This composition reveals the richness of the craftsmanship, between structure and lightness.
FORTUNÉE borrows its name from the Merveilleuses of the Directory era, those free and audacious figures who redefined the codes of elegance at the end of the 18th century.
