Chapter 1 : Boudoir
« Boudoir » [n.m.] : A private space where women would write, dress, and whisper conversations.
Boudoir is an ode to femininity. It captures the secrecy and the pleasure of getting dressed : the softness of fabric against the skin, the scent lingering in the air, the excitement, the hesitation… A fleeting ritual, intimate, invisible, yet essential.
FROM FRIEZES TO EMBROIDERY
Built starting in 1787, the Hôtel de Bourrienne is a jewel of Parisian heritage. The last surviving witness of its era, it still preserves its Directoire-era interiors intact: frescoes, moldings, friezes — whispering echoes of another time.
Inspired by the voluminous cuffs of the past, the Boudoir cuff closes with a placket adorned with an embroidered trim. It is handcrafted by an artisan in northern France, echoing the frescoes of the Hôtel de Bourrienne.
BOUDOIR REIMAGINED
First crafted in a double-twisted Italian poplin, the Boudoir shirt was later reinterpreted in silk, a more refined and luxurious version. Then came a fine linen edition: lighter, softer, and more fluid, perfect for summer days when comfort and freedom of movement come first.
The BOUDOIR silhouette also finds expression through color. In terracotta or deep blue, it brings a bold touch to the summer wardrobe while preserving the elegance of its original cut. Finally, the striped seersucker version : light, textured, and wrinkle-resistant evokes the effortless charm of seaside holidays.

THE BOURRIENNE CUT
We created the Bourrienne cut to offer a new silhouette in shirting, inspired by the romantic volumes of the past. A series of gathers at the back panel adds movement and ease. Our signature fit.
THE EMBROIDERIES
The Maison has chosen to embroider its logo in white-on-white, as well as on the hirondelle (the small shoulder pleat). Similarly, the name of each shirt is embroidered on the inside of the right cuff.
